Research Area:Polish; paremiology, linguistics; phraseology and phraseography; paremiography; Polish literature; imagology; stereotypes, dictionary of proverbs; paremiological minimum; sociolinguistic experiment; invariant

Research Experience:
Olga Raina's research focuses on topics in Slavonic linguistics. She is interested primarily in the paremiology, phraseology and dialectology of the Polish language. She has published articles on the links between Polish Goral dialect and Central European languages.
 
Education:
1997-2002 - Saint-Petersburg State University, specialization: philologist, University Lecturer in Polish language and literature (Faculty of Philology of St. Petersburg State University)  
2008 - awarded degree CSc. in Slavonic Languages (thesis "Paremiology of the Goral dialect of the Polish language") ​​(supervisor - Prof. Dr. Kotova M.Yu.).
2009-2012 - German language courses at the Department of Advanced Studies in Education (Faculty of Philology of St. Petersburg State University)
 
Teaching interests: 
Polish language, Polish paremiology and problems of the morphology and syntax of the Polish language
 
Research interests: 
My current research interests include the various aspects of comparative and dialectal paremiology on the material of Polish, Russian, English and German; Slavonic-Germanic comparative studies, problems of national identity.
